South Gwinnett NG3 School Director
I was born and raised in Winder GA. My wife Victoria and I are the proud parents of 3 adult children (Natasha, Kendra & Khyri). Victoria, Natasha and I have recently moved into the Snellville community where I am the minister at Snellville Christian Church. I have spent 38 years in ministry at different church in the Atlanta are. I am a graduate of Point University (Atlanta Christian College) and have a masters from Andersonville Theological Seminary. I have also spent time working at Celebrate Life International going to highs schools, middle schools and juvenile courts teaching a character education and leadership class. In 2008 when the economy went bad, I decided to go back to school to get a degree to be a teacher, upon my Graduation from Western Governors University I decided to also get a master’s degree in special education. The main reason for me going back to school was to get a degree to get back into the schools and work with students. Once I received my certification to teach, I spent 2 years in DeKalb County Schools as In School Suspension Coordinator (I have to admit, I LOVED it)! From Dekalb County, I went on to teach history and bible at Young Americans Christian School in Conyers GA. In October of 2019 I was hired as the new minister at Snellville Christian Church. One of the things I want to do is to be actively involved in the schools in my community, so I began looking for opportunities to get involved in the local schools. One of the church members suggested looking at NG3. As I looked into NG3 I grew more and more excited about the possibility of partnering with a program that is all about mentoring to young people. I am excited about partnering with NG3 as the area director at South Gwinnett High School. I love that NG3 is all about building relationships and helping today’s youth become tomorrow’s community leaders and helping them to have a positive influence in their communities.
