Grayson High School Director
I grew up in Lilburn, Georgia and attended Parkview High School. My involvement with sports began at a very early age. When I was two years old, my dad coached my cousins in softball. You could say that I grew up at the ballfield. Throughout my childhood, I played baseball, football, street hockey, and soccer. Once I reached high school, I played baseball but wrestling became my sport. After high school, I developed a passion for working with the youth at my church. At this church is where I met my wife, Angie. We have been married for thirty years and have two adult children. When my son was growing up, I coached his baseball teams and later his lacrosse teams. I first became aware of NG3 when my son was finishing up middle school and was invited to a core group for lacrosse. My son’s core group leader encouraged me to get involved with NG3. I have been a core group leader for about ten years now and it has been a life-changing experience! Being a mentor to a group of young men allows me to minister to them while we do life together. It has been such a blessing to lead several students to Christ. I have even had the opportunity to baptize a few of them. I am humbled to watch them grow in their walk with Christ. Since I have recently retired, I am looking forward to being the school director for Grayson High School. I cannot wait to see what God has planned for me. In my free time, I enjoy going to sporting events, coaching sports, watching any kind of sport on TV, and spending time with my family. David@ng3.org
